Delete your account or data
You can delete some of your data and keep your account, or delete your whole account. A parent does either for a young player.
Delete some data (keep your account)
- A clip: in the app, open the clip and choose Delete. For several, choose Select several, tick them, then Delete.
- Training logs and matches: open the session or match and choose Delete this session or Delete this match.
- Highlights: open your clip in Highlights and choose Make it private (or Take out of Highlights).
- Coach comments: the player or their parent can remove any comment on the player’s clip.
- For a young player: the parent does this, from Young players › Open their account.
Delete your whole account
- In the app, tap your avatar › My account › Delete my account, and type what it asks to confirm.
- For a young player: the parent deletes it, from Young players › the young player › Delete their account.
Can’t sign in?
Tell us, and we’ll delete your account for you. We’ll check it’s you by email first.
What is deleted
- Your profile
- Your clips, including the ones you kept forever
- Training logs, matches and figures
- Your clips in Highlights
- Comments
- Followers and the people you follow
- Links with coaches, squads and academies
- Your signed-in devices and passkeys
Everything above is deleted within 30 days. Clips you delete in the app stay in Recently deleted for 30 days, so you can change your mind, and are then removed from our video storage.
What is kept
- Payment records, for tax and accounting: usually 6 years, as the law requires.
- Safety records about reports and take-downs, for as long as we need them to keep players safe.
- Anonymous counts that can’t identify anyone (for example, how many clips were watched).
An academy or school may also hold its own records about its players. Ask them directly about those.
